Please read these terms carefully before making a booking with Leicester Party Hire. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Bookings

1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you have received written or verbal confirmation from Leicester Party Hire.

1.2 By confirming a booking, you (the hirer) accept full responsibility for ensuring these terms and conditions are understood and followed by all persons at the event.

2. Payment

2.1 Full payment is due on the day of hire, upon delivery and setup of the equipment, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

2.2 Leicester Party Hire reserves the right to refuse setup if payment is not received.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1 Weather cancellations: If we deem conditions unsafe for use (high winds, heavy rain, or other adverse weather), we will contact you as early as possible. In this case, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative date, subject to availability.

3.2 Customer cancellations: If you cancel your booking for any reason other than adverse weather, no refund will be issued. We strongly recommend only booking when you are certain of your plans.

3.3 Rescheduling: We will always try to accommodate rescheduling requests where possible, but cannot guarantee availability on your preferred alternative date.

4. Equipment & Setup

4.1 Leicester Party Hire will deliver, set up, and collect all equipment. You must not attempt to move, dismantle, or re-inflate the equipment yourself.

4.2 You must ensure the setup area is clear, accessible, and suitable prior to our arrival. The area must be flat, free of debris, sharp objects, animal waste, and overhead obstructions.

4.3 A power source must be available within reasonable distance of the setup area. If hiring for outdoor use, the hirer is responsible for ensuring this.

4.4 Leicester Party Hire reserves the right to refuse setup if the area is deemed unsafe or unsuitable. No refund will be issued in this circumstance if it is due to conditions within the hirer's control.

5. Safety & Supervision

5.1 All equipment complies with BS EN 14960:2019, the British Standard for inflatable play equipment.

5.2 A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times during use. Leicester Party Hire accepts no liability for accidents or injuries resulting from unsupervised use.

5.3 The hirer agrees to enforce all safety rules provided at the time of setup. A safety agreement will be signed by the hirer upon delivery.

5.4 Maximum user capacities and age/height restrictions must be strictly observed. These are detailed on the equipment label and on the safety agreement form.

6. Damage & Loss

6.1 The hirer is responsible for any damage to the equipment caused during the hire period, beyond normal fair wear and tear. This includes damage caused by misuse, sharp objects, or failure to follow safety guidelines.

6.2 In the event of damage, Leicester Party Hire will provide an assessment and invoice for repair or replacement costs.

7. Liability

7.1 Leicester Party Hire will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of the equipment, failure to supervise users, or failure to follow the safety guidelines provided.

7.2 It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure the event space and use of the equipment complies with any permissions required (e.g. venue or park permissions).
